A new musical alliance between the singular Senegalese percussionist and musical storyteller Dudù Kouate (Art Ensemble of Chicago, Moor Mother), and UK-based keyboardist and sound artist Dan Nicholls (Alabaster De Plume, Squarepusher, Matthew Herbert), weaving together otherworldy spontaneous soundscapes from a deep well of collective experience in West African Griot traditions, jazz and improvised music, free party and rave culture and liberatory sonic practices. An improbable but ecstatic intersection of two free-thinking and adventurous artists, who have consistently pushed boundaries through their unhindered approach to craft and artistry - Dudù Kouate & Dan Nicholls build electrifying sonic worlds, simultaneously rooted in community and collective presence, whilst exploring the outer reaches of musical dialogue and concurrence.
